The master behind the gorgeous looks from Anthony's Vaccarello Spring show is the one and only Estée Lauder creative director of makeup Tom Pecheux.
Vaccarello’s Spring Collection presented outfits that are much more wearable now. So the same thing happened with the makeup of the models. The molten, burgundy-tinged black smoky eye from fall are long gone now, replaced with a much more natural look.
“It’s more like the girl hanging out by the pool, not coming out of the club,” Pecheux confessed.
The beauty process started with a massage using the Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Crème and the Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher.
For the base, the makeup artist applied a small amount of Lauder’s Double Wear Light Stay-in-Place Makeup and Double Wear Stay-in-Place Flawless Wear Concealer. Then, Pecheux added Pure Color Blush in Blushing Nude upward underneath cheekbones, “so the color fades into the cheek”.
For the eyes the makeup artist used the aqua shade of Estée Lauder Pure Color Intense Kajal Eyeliner and blend it out for just a trace of blue. For a more sophisticated effect, Pecheux added Pure Color Stay-On Shadow Paint in Sinister and Steel.
The great tip in creating this makeup is the way he applied the mascara. Pecheux used two types of mascara for the look: a brown one on the inside lashes and a richer black mascara on the outer corners.
For the lips the Estée Lauder creative director of makeup chooses the Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Vanilla Truffle, and highlighted with the Barely Nude shade.
We admit that it might not be the easiest look to create, but definitely worth the try!
